At Amarillo I Care we use state of the art imaging equipment to provide comprehensive eye care. Our optometry technicians are well trained and experienced with all our software and equipment and can make even the more difficult tests a breeze for patients.

The Optical Coherence Tomography, or OCT, takes precise measurements of your macula and optic nerve. These measurements produce reliable and accurate 3D data that help to determine the health of your eyes. ZEISS was the first company to introduce optical coherence tomography (OCT) for clinical use in ophthalmology and optometry.  This technology, which assists doctors in the diagnosis and management of many serious eye diseases, has become the standard of care in ophthalmic imaging.

The Humphrey's Visual Field, or HVF, is used to test central and peripheral vision to document any loss. Through our comprehensive testing we are able to effectively screen, diagnose and manage eye diseases like glaucoma.

The FUNDUS is a high powered camera that takes high definition photos of the inside of the eye. These pictures provide a clear view of the optic nerve, retina, macula and blood vessels. The high-quality system provides the basis for detailed diagnoses of typical eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and AMD.
