The Optical Coherence Tomography, or OCT, takes precise measurements of your macula and optic nerve. These measurements produce reliable and accurate 3D data that help to determine the health of your eyes. ZEISS was the first company to introduce optical coherence tomography (OCT) for clinical use in ophthalmology and optometry. This technology, which assists doctors in the diagnosis and management of many serious eye diseases, has become the standard of care in ophthalmic imaging.
